About Rada

I'm Rada Rann. Your coach, every session.

I'm the founder and coach behind RANNBO. I plan your sessions, hold the pads, and keep track of what you're working toward. No front desk, no rotating trainers — one coach who knows your goals.

How I got here

Growing up in North Philadelphia, I was exposed to challenges that taught me the importance of resilience, discipline, and perseverance. At 17, I found martial arts through kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu before eventually developing a deeper passion for boxing.

Wanting to better understand the science behind physical performance, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Sport Science from Temple University in 2020. My education gave me a strong foundation in human movement, exercise science, and effective training principles.

With over a decade of martial arts experience, an amateur competitive boxing background, and a USA Boxing coaching certification, I combine real-world experience with academic knowledge to deliver personalized, effective training.

I founded RANNBO in 2020 with a mission that goes beyond boxing: to help people build confidence, develop discipline, overcome challenges, and become stronger versions of themselves—both inside and outside the gym.

Education & credentials

  • B.S. in Exercise & Sport Science, Temple University, 2020
  • Over a decade of martial arts experience — Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Boxing
  • Amateur Boxing Competition Experience & USA Boxing Coach Certified
  • Coaching clients through RANNBO since 2020

My degree gave me the science behind training — how people move, adapt, recover and get stronger. Years in the gym gave me the practical side. I use both in every session.

Amateur boxing

In the ring

I've competed in amateur boxing and earned belts for the fights I won. I still train and spar today.

Competing taught me things drills can't: reading an opponent, managing my energy, and staying composed under pressure. That's what I pass on to the people I coach.

In March 2026, I had the opportunity to spar with UFC champion Joshua Van in Houston.

How I coach

Technique first

Clean fundamentals from day one. Power, speed and conditioning all build on good technique, and you get fit while you learn it.

Personal coaching

Every session is one-on-one with me. I watch, correct and adjust as we go, so you always know what you did well and what to fix.

Discipline & confidence

We set clear goals and track them. Confidence comes from showing up, doing something hard, and seeing your own progress.

Who I train

New to boxing?

We start with stance, guard, footwork and your first punches, and build at your pace. No experience or fitness level required.

Already training?

We sharpen what moves you forward: technique, defense, combinations, and conditioning for your goals.

More than a workout

Boxing builds more than fitness. Showing up, working through hard rounds and watching yourself improve builds discipline that carries into the rest of your life. If you want to work on that directly, I also offer Mindset & Performance Coaching — a separate one-on-one service, no boxing required.

… Being a 66 YO "beginner" had me worried. Rada started me out slowly and worked me at my own pace. … Starting with the basics (footwork, breathing, defense, single punches) all the way up to complex combinations, mit work and light sparring Rada had a great lesson plan that we stuck to. …
